1947 - FOOTBALL IS COMING !
First news about football came out on "THE BLUE DEVIL" (weekly magazine published by Trieste United States Troops - TRUST). The article below is dated 15th August 1947.
Than the "SPORTOMETER" section breafly talked about football on the edition of the 12th September 1947 (as you can see below).
The 88th DIVISION LEAGUE had to fold up in 1947 before any conference game were played due to the formation of the TRUST garrison and the closing out of the MTO.
Seems that there was some football played in the MTO but we do not have informations up to now........
